The kit includes 2 classifier screens with different wire mesh sizes of: 1/2” and 1/8”, which will help you sift through both coarse and finer materials. The 1/2” sifter screen has a wire thickness of 1.2mm, and the 1/8” sifter has a wire thickness of .6mm. They are both constructed of heavy-duty plastic that is designed to fit easily on a standard 5-gallon bucket.
Each kit comes with 3 deep dual riffle sifting pans in 3 sizes: 14”, 12”, and 8” diameters respectively. The pans all fit neatly inside of the sifters, and the green color makes it easier to spot gold flakes in silt and sand.
The remaining accessories included in this kit are the glass collection vials, the magnifying tweezer, the snifter bottle, the pickup tool, and the sand scoop, all of which will assist you in picking up, inspecting, and storing your findings. The tweezer features a 4X magnification power and the 4oz snifter bottle can be used to pick up gold flakes.
