This testing solution is designed specifically to indicate whether your silver is high-quality or low-quality. A cream color indicates high quality, usually sterling; black color indicates coin quality, green color indicates high amounts of copper/poor quality; gold color indicates brass/silver plated item.
Test solutions work best in small quantities, so it’s recommended to use the neutralizing solution in small amounts for each test. Since we’ve included 2 bottles, this amount should last through many tests. Please note that this testing solution is not used to differentiate between different types of silver (example: .999, .925, .80)
